YAB,

Re: (1) Demolished Hindu Temple in Kg. Rimba Jaya, Kg. Karupiah, Kg Jawa Shah Alam was catalyst for Hindraf Peaceful Assembly on 25/11/2007 which led to 90% of Indians voting for Opposition in the March 8th General Elections.

(2) PKR led Selangor State government has not properly rewarded Selangor Indians by merely repeating the 10,000 sq feet land and RM 40,000.00 promised by the previous UMNO led government.

With respect to the above mentioned matter we are disappointed at the mere reputation of what the previous UMNO government had previously already promised. (Tamil Nesan 18/03/08 pg 3). May we bring to your kind attention that it was the demolishment of this Temple that eventually led to 90% of the Indians in Malaysia voting for the Oppositions and as abovementioned. We hereby appeal that this Hindu Temple is retained at the existing and present site by the PKR led state government compulsorily acquiring the land (CPO) and awarding the same to the said Temple. This Hindu Temple is the heritage of the people of Kg Karupiah and means a lot to them.

“ONLY INDIANS” Deal, Opposes HINDRAF Leader

Chennai, March 24 : Malaysia’s interest in signing an agreement with India to protect Indian workers is a diversionary tactic intended to keep the latter quiet on the rights of Malaysians of Indian origin, a leader of the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) said here Monday.

“Such an MoU (memorandum of understanding) protecting just the Indian workers’ rights will effectively silence the government of India on the issue of rights of Malaysians of Indian origin,” said Hindraf leader P. Waytha Moorthy.

“There are workers of all nationalities in Malaysia and the country has enough laws to protect foreign workers. An MoU with India will only create discrimination between foreign workers in Malaysia.”

HINDRAF - PRESS STATEMENT 24/03/08″SAMY-SUBRA NO MAGIC FORMULA”.

RE: “FRAGILE” SAMY-SUBRA PACT IS NO “POP” TO HEAL THE “FRACTURED” INDIAN COMMUNITY. MIC NEEDS TO PURGE ALL CRONY LEADERS AND ABSORB NEW BLOOD WITH VISION FOR THE FUTURE PROGRESIVE INDIANS.

HINDRAF views the “fragile” Samy-Subra pact no POP to heal the “fractured” Indian community who have been marginalized over the last 50 years.

The MIC echelons failed to realize that the real reason behind the loss of Indian community support is the communities’ suppression, marginalization and discrimination over the years by the majority dominant bully rule of UMNO led Government of which MIC is part of.

UMNO’s Immature Protest in Penang

The state government is just establishing themselves to get to know their work scopes. They have not even gone to the grounds and roots yet. I bet they must have many things to be done. The senior or experience person should instead help them to be established. UMNO la, who else…It is still tolerable if they cannot help our fresh men’s out there to get establish but don’t show your color la. Please do not repudiate them. Not even a week after a humiliating defeat, UMNO has rallied a protest. It is infamy to listen that the Penang Umno secretary Azhar Ibrahim led the protest. Did anyone from the new state lineup mentioned that they are going to sideline the Malays? The state government reps only mentioned that they are going to abolish the New Economic Policy or NEP, and why that makes them to protest. I have many Malay friends and they welcome the new government…it only takes UMNO to act like this…maybe because they cannot practice cronyisms anymore. Be more mature on your demand next time.
