Few Words before the Election

Frankly speaking, I’ve never took seriousness on elections all the while until HINDRAF came in action. I realized I’ve made a big mistake on the past and how important is it to vote. I’ve registered for the coming election, and I’ll be going to my hometown - Taiping, today after work to play my role as a citizen of Malaysia. Really appreciate that person for producing such an important document. I also received some info that the boxes above will be transparent and there will be no serial numbers on it this election. So don’t be surprise if you see a different box than the above one.

Furthermore, Malaysia is supposed to use indelible ink for this election. It was even agreed upon in the first place. However, our friend, Election Commission Chief by the name of Rashid Abdul Rahman made a devastating last minute about-turn decision of revoking the usage of the ink with a clarification that sounds more like an excuse than a reason. Not a single point from the main four points of BERSIH demands is being fulfilled.

One wonders why he did not make an appropriate research on this issue earlier before making conclusion months back. I think this made vandals to splash paint on the election chief’s house. But whatever it is, i condemn the act.
