HINDRAF - The Curse of Being an INDIAN

I write this with a great deal of frustration for the inability of the Malaysian Society to see the true fact in the state of the Malaysian Indians on the basis of humanity. Hundreds of innocent Malaysian Indians who were merely exercising their legitimate rights under Article 10 of the Federal Constitution were arrested in the pre and post November 25th famous HINDRAF rally. They were immediately remanded in police custody under strict instructions by the ruling fascist UMNO led Government. It is an undoubted fact that the Inspector General of Police and the Attorney General took direct instructions from UMNO. Hence the long period of remand for HINDRAF protesters as compared to protesters related to other protests. WHY? The answer is simple. The Indians have to be taught a lesson. As far as UMNO is concerned the Indians have successfully been “silenced” for 50 years with the help of their crony the MIC. But what happened! Alas! If these are allowed the Indians would be made conscious of their basic rights – they would develop their courage further to demand for their basic rights - so the best is to hit them and to hit them hard. Place them on protracted remand period! That would do the magic.

However the magic did not materialise. The Indians could not be “contained” any longer. They rose to the call of HINDRAF to articulate their inner feelings of oppression suppression marginalisation and permanent colonization.

Then came the avalanche of criminal charges slapped on them. Illegal assembly, failure to disperse, criminal damage to property, and a range of “offences” allegedly committed.

The instant UMNO were made aware that I had left the country to lobby International support, more “magic formula’s” were formulated. Suddenly the Batu Caves devotees were rearrested and charged with attempted murder. Upon hearing the rearrest many devotees went into hiding which they rightly did for that was the only way to escape this oppressive police force and fascist Government. Those who were unlucky, 31 in total were slapped with another charge of “attempted murder”. WHY? Because UMNO had to satisfy their thirst of EGO to overcome the “insult” to their authority as ” super masters of the Malaysian race” by the Indians.

Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim Arrested

Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was arrested by the police just outside his home in Bukit Segambut, Kuala Lumpur, at 12.55pm today.

The de facto PKR leader was on his way back to his house after being questioned by the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA).

A team of police officers were waiting, according to lawyer R Sivarasa.

Anwar was driven away in a 4WD vehicle with tinted windows, escorted by a convoy of 15 patrol cars. They arrived at Kuala Lumpur police headquarters at 1.11pm.

Reason of Arrest:
The police were worried that PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim would not show up at the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters by 2pm and therefore decided to arrest him.

Star Online quoted Federal CID director Bakri Zinin as saying that Anwar was supposed to have gone directly to the police headquarters immediately after giving his statement to the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) in Putrajaya.

“However, we were informed that after he left the ACA headquarters in Putrajaya, he had changed his route and was heading back to his house in (Bukit) Segambut.

Anwar Doughter’s Say:
Dad was arrested by the cops whilst on his way to the IPK to give his statement. The cops gave till 2pm for dad to report but still arrested him before the deadline. Dad was on his way back home to have lunch in Bukit Segambut, and then head to the IPK but the cops blocked off the road and arrested him like a criminal. And the cops who arrested him were Special Squad cops with balaclavas!!! Is that necessary!!!

Where Is PI Bala?

Private investigator P Balasubramaniam has finally broken his silence and made contact with his nephew R Kumaresan late night day before yesterday via a short telephone call. The police could just check with Immigration within minutes to know whether Bala is out of Malaysia or not. But no confirmation on anything…sounds very fishy!!!

Why Indians United on 25th Nov 2007 HINDRAF Rally?

Dear Readers, I’ve came across this documentary in MalaysiaKini and it was just recently added to their news portal. What I can say is that it brought back my emotions as it was during the rally where I participated with my fellow Indian brothers and sisters. Just thought of sharing this video with every Malaysian who are curious to know the course behind the HINDRAF rally. No one gathered there without any reason. The present ruling government, by one way or another, exaggerated everyone who was there. A very fair rap up video on why the event happen and I’m obliged to MalaysiaKini for producing such a thought provoking documentary. Thank You MalaysiaKini!!! Just one word for my community, stay united!!!

The documentary analyzes and highlights the chronology of the events that has led Malaysian Indians to the street protesting on the Nov 25, 2007.

Anwar Vs Najib - Who is Right?

Stunning Claims Linking Najib to Altantuya by Anwar

Private investigator P Balasubramaniam has made shocking claims that Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak had links with murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Najib Denies Affair with Altantuya

Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak today denied allegations that he had links with murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu as claimed by a private detective.

Reading out from a prepared statement at a packed press conference in Parliament this evening, the embattled deputy premier reiterated that he had never met or knew Altantuya.

He dismissed the statutory declaration filed by private eye P Balasubramaniam, who was hired by Najib’s close associate Abdul Razak Baginda to deal with the Altantuya problem, as “concocted” claims.

Lesson Learnt : Don’t f… around especially when you’re well known among everyone or if you’re holding top position in any organizations!!!
